Are you a passionate Early Career Teacher looking to kickstart your teaching journey?
GSL Education is looking for a Secondary ECT to join a welcoming school in Ashington. This is a fantastic chance to gain valuable experience, receive professional development, and build a strong foundation for your career.
️ Plan and deliver well-structured lessons following the national curriculum
️ Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning needs
️ Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
️ Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
️ Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
️ Manage classroom behaviour effectively
️ Take part in professional development, mentoring, and training sessions
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification
Experience teaching in a secondary school (as an ECT or trainee)
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education
Ability to engage and inspire students through interactive lessons
Good classroom management and organisational skills
A proactive and reflective teaching approach
Requirements: Updated CV (last 10 years) and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
