Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Merthyr Tydfil to recruit a dedicated Secondary Teacher on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start.

You will deliver engaging lessons, manage classrooms effectively, and support students aged 11 to 16 to achieve strong academic progress in a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• QTS required; NQTs welcome to apply.
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable and committed approach to teaching.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Secondary Teacher on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Secondary Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining positive classroom behaviour and supporting students to make strong academic progress.

The successful Secondary Teacher will have:

• QTS (NQTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching within a secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• An enthusiastic, adaptable and committed approach to teaching
