Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Teacher to join our Corby area schools on a full-time basis. The role covers 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with start date 14 September.

You will deliver high-quality lessons across subjects and year groups, manage behaviour, and support continuity of learning. The ideal candidate holds QTS, understands safeguarding, and is adaptable to teaching across Northamptonshire schools.

Qualifications

  • Has QTS and understands safeguarding in education.
  • Adaptable to teach across different year groups and schools.
  • Able to differentiate teaching to meet varied abilities including SEND and EAL.
  • Able to assess, monitor and provide regular feedback on student progress.
  • Attends staff meetings, training, parents' evenings and events.
  • Enthusiastic, reliable and committed to high-quality learning.
  • Able to build positive relationships with children aged 11-18.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the school curriculum.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to create a safe and productive environment.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs including SEND and EAL.
  • Assess and monitor pupil engagement and progress during lessons.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents; represent the school professionally.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety and school policies at all times.
  • Support school activities and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by teaching across different year groups and subjects.

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Start Date: 14th September
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Contract: Full time

We are currently looking for an adaptable and enthusiastic Teacher with experience delivering high-quality teaching, available in the Corby and greater Northamptonshire area. A successful candidate will be skilled in maintaining effective classroom management, delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher. This job would be best suited to someone committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that enables all pupils to achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering high quality lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and policies.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse learning needs of pupils, including those with SEND and EAL needs.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an educator who:

  • Has obtained and maintained QTS.
  • Has a clear understanding of Safeguarding and keeping children safe in education.
  • Is adaptable and comfortable working with different year groups, in different schools across the Northamptonshire area.
  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing regular feedback to support achievement.
  • Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities, including those with SEND and EAL needs.
  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, parents' evenings, and other school events as required.
  • Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to providing high-quality learning experiences.
  • Can build strong, positive relationships with children aged 11-18
Working Hours

Weekdays 8:30am - 3:30pm
