Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd in Thetford and surrounding areas is seeking a Secondary Supply Teacher for daily supply from as soon as possible. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum, adapting quickly to different school environments and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.

Strong classroom management and safeguarding are essential as you will follow lesson plans or create content when needed and assess pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Ideal Secondary Supply Teacher:

• Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Has recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Is confident teaching across a range of subjects or specialising in one
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and adaptability
• Has a clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
