Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking energetic secondary supply teachers for all subjects to work across St Neots and surrounding areas. You can choose day-to-day cover or longer-term assignments, with opportunities across Key Stage 3 and 4 and optional Key Stage 5 involvement.

Qualified teachers (QTS or QTLS) with a pro-active approach to classroom management and pupil engagement are welcomed. DBS and a professional attitude are important for ongoing bookings.

Key Responsibilities

• Step confidently into secondary classrooms to deliver pre:prepared work across various subjects at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, keeping pupils focused, active, and on:task.
• Establish a positive, safe, and productive learning environment using clear behaviour management techniques aligned with individual school policies.
• Adapt lesson delivery to meet the needs of pupils with diverse learning requirements, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Provide concise, professional handover feedback for the regular class teacher at the end of each assignment.
• For long:term roles: take on full subject teaching responsibilities, including planning, assessment, tracking progress, department collaboration, and attending parents evenings where required.
