Job summary

Senploy seeks a qualified SEN Teacher to work in a secondary school in Rochdale. You will plan and deliver lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, creating an engaging, inclusive classroom and supporting pupil progress.

Collaborating with the SENCO and teaching team, you will differentiate instruction, manage behaviour, and contribute to school life while meeting Teachers' Standards. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS and UK teaching eligibility.
• Experience in a UK school, including placements for ECTs.
• Ability to manage behaviour and differentiate instruction.
• Available full-time, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching as needed.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Differentiate learning to support varied abilities and needs.
• Support pupils with SEND in collaboration with the SENCO and staff.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning and progress.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Contribute to planning, assessment and wider school activities.
• Fulfil all professional responsibilities in line with Teachers' Standards.
