Job summary

Educato Limited is recruiting SEN Teachers to work in a secondary school in Bury, Manchester. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, providing a positive and well-structured classroom environment to support pupil progress.

You will work closely with teaching assistants, the SENCO and the wider teaching team to deliver high standards of attainment and contribute positively to school life.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and eligible to work in the UK.
• Experience in a UK school and with SEND.
• Ability to plan and differentiate lessons for varied needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching as needed.
• Create a positive, inclusive, well-managed classroom.
• Differentiate learning for varying abilities and needs.
• Support pupils with SEND with SENCO and staff.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and progress.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Contribute to planning, assessment and wider school activities.
• Fulfil professional responsibilities in line with Teachers' Standards.
