Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting for Secondary School Teachers in Bournemouth. As a Secondary School Teacher, you will use your subject knowledge and teaching expertise to inspire, engage, and support students in achieving their full potential within a supportive and inclusive school environment.

You will deliver high-quality lessons, promote positive learning behaviours, and help students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or Equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a UK school.
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable, training can be provided).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons that support student progress and achievement within your subject area.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where all students can succeed.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues to support learning, wellbeing and personal development.
• Assess, monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
• Contribute to the wider school community and collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
• Encourage students to develop confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of learning.

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
