Job summary

Prospero Teaching currently seeks a Primary School Teacher in Bournemouth to inspire and support pupils to reach their full potential. You will deliver high-quality lessons, promote positive learning behaviours, and help children develop academically, socially and emotionally within a nurturing school setting.

You will foster strong relationships with pupils, parents and staff, monitor progress, and adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs while contributing to a collaborative school

Qualifications

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE or EYTS (Desirable)
  • UK school experience required
  • Safeguarding training within last year is desirable though training can be provided

Primary School Teachers Needed!

As a Primary School Teacher, you will use your teaching expertise to inspire, engage, and support pupils in achieving their full potential. Working within a nurturing and inclusive school environment, you will deliver high-quality lessons, promote positive learning behaviours, and help children develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering engaging and creative lessons that support pupil progress and achievement across the primary curriculum.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all children can thrive.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support learning, wellbeing, and personal development.
  • Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
  • Contributing to the wider school community and work collaboratively with staff to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Training and Qualifications
  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS (Desirable but not a requirement)
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training for this can be provided)
To Be Eligible, You Must
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional, child-related references
