Vision for Education Ltd is seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent. You will supervise classes, follow lesson plans and help maintain a positive learning environment.

This role offers flexible day-to-day work across multiple schools, with regular placements and potential longer-term opportunities. You will build strong relationships with students and staff while supporting learning across KS3 to KS5.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school is essential.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across Key Stages 3-5 using lesson plans.

Vision for Education are currently recruiting Experienced Cover Supervisors in Stoke-on-Trent to work across a range of secondary schools in the area.

About the role

As an Experienced Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged, focused and on task. You will use your classroom experience to maintain high standards of behaviour, support learning across a variety of subjects, and provide continuity of education.

This role is ideal for experienced Cover Supervisors looking for flexible work, regular school placements or longer-term opportunities across Stoke-on-Trent. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of school settings and build strong relationships with students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across Key Stages 3-5 using lesson plans and resources provided by teaching staff
• Confidently manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe, positive learning environment
• Keep students engaged and on task throughout lessons
• Support students with their learning and provide appropriate assistance where required
• Adapt quickly to different classes, subjects and school environments
• Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour expectations
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress, behaviour and any issues arising during lessons
• Build positive and professional relationships with students and school staff
