Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join an Outstanding alternative provision school in Hammersmith, West London, on a full-time, long-term basis.

You will teach Maths to KS3 and KS4, plan engaging lessons, support GCSE preparation, and build positive relationships with students and staff in a calm, structured environment that prioritises high expectations and personalised learning.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher with strong Maths subject knowledge.
  • Experience teaching secondary Maths.
  • Confident managing behaviour and building positive relationships.
  • Adaptable and committed to supporting students with a range of needs.
  • Experience within alternative provision or SEND is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Maths Teacher – Long-Term Placement

Location: Hammersmith, West London
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term via Protocol Education

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join an Outstanding alternative provision school in Hammersmith on a full-time, long-term basis.

The school supports young people aged 11–16 who may have experienced challenges or disruption within mainstream education. It provides a calm, structured and supportive environment where high expectations, strong relationships and personalised learning are central to helping students succeed.

The role:
  • Teach Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support students working towards recognised qualifications including GCSEs
  • Build positive relationships with students and promote high expectations
  • Work closely with colleagues and the pastoral team to support student progress
  • Contribute to a structured and inclusive learning environment
