Job summary

Milk Education is supporting a well-regarded Liverpool secondary school to recruit a Maths Teacher from September. The role runs through the first term with potential continuation for the full academic year, offering continuity and the chance to settle into a high-achieving team.

You will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience a bonus. You will deliver engaging lessons, support GCSE and A-Level outcomes, and uphold high standards of teaching and behaviour while collaborating with

Qualifications

  • QTS or recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong Maths subject knowledge.
  • Experience teaching secondary Maths.
  • Ability to teach across KS3/KS4; KS5 experience a bonus.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Maths across KS3, KS4 and possibly KS5, depending on experience.
  • Deliver engaging lessons that drive pupil progress.
  • Support students in achieving strong GCSE and A-Level outcomes.
  • Maintain the high standards of teaching and behaviour expected by the school.
  • Work collaboratively with the Maths department.

The role will run through the first term of the 2026/27 academic year, with the expectation that it will continue for the full school year.

The role
  • Teach Maths across KS3, KS4 and potentially KS5, depending on experience.
  • Deliver engaging, challenging lessons that drive pupil progress.
  • Support students in achieving strong GCSE and A-Level outcomes.
  • Maintain the high standards of teaching and behaviour expected by the school.
  • Work collaboratively with an experienced and supportive Maths department.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and inspire confidence in Mathematics.
