Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream secondary school in Leeds to recruit an enthusiastic Maths Teacher. You will teach Maths to students across KS3 and KS4, deliver engaging lessons and maintain excellent classroom management.

An immediate start is available for day-to-day and long-term opportunities. The successful candidate will hold QTS with Maths, have experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary setting, and be flexible and adaptable to cover varying timetable needs.

Qualifications

• QTS with Maths or ECTs welcomed.
• Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school.
• Experience delivering Maths to KS3/KS4 and managing diverse classes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £150 - 190 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School in Leeds, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Maths Teacher. The school provides a supportive learning environment focused on helping students develop their confidence, knowledge and enthusiasm for learning.

The school is looking to take on a Maths Teacher for day-to-day and long-term opportunities, with an immediate start available. The successful Maths Teacher will be teaching across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 and will be expected to deliver engaging Maths lessons, demonstrate strong subject knowledge and maintain excellent classroom management.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Maths specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school
• Experience teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum
• A flexible and adaptable approach
