Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Learning Support Assistant to support students in secondary schools across the Fareham area. This role involves helping pupils with learning, organisation, engagement and behaviour, both 1:1 and in small groups, under the guidance of teachers.

The ideal candidate will have experience with young people, be patient and approachable, with strong communication skills, and be flexible to work in a busy school environment.

• Safeguarding training can be provided

Secondary Learning Support Assistant - Fareham

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Learning Support Assistant to support students in secondary schools across the Fareham area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and enjoys helping young people overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Working closely with teachers and support staff, you will provide additional support to students who may require assistance with learning, organisation, engagement, confidence, or behaviour. Support may be provided on a 1:1 basis or through small-group interventions, depending on the needs of the school and individual students.

This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable experience within secondary education while making a positive impact on students' academic and personal development.

Contract Details:

• Position: Secondary Learning Support Assistant
• Location: Fareham
• Start Date: ASAP
  
• Working Pattern: Full-time, term-time
• Pay Rate: £14.25 - £15.66 per hour

Key Stages: KS3 & KS4

Experience, Training & Safeguarding:

• Experience working with young people desirable
