Secondary Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to support students in secondary schools across the Southampton area. This role involves working closely with teachers and support staff to help students engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential both academically and personally.

You will provide a combination of 1:1 support and small-group assistance, helping students who may require additional support with learning, organisation, confidence, or classroom engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in secondary education while making a positive impact on young people's lives.

Contract Details

• Position: Secondary Teaching Assistant
• Location: Southampton
• Start Date: ASAP
• Working Pattern: Full-time, term-time
• Pay Rate: £14.25 - £15.66 per hour
• Key Stages: KS3 & KS4

Experience, Training & Safeguarding

• Experience working with young people desirable
• SEN experience beneficial but not essential
• Safeguarding training can be provided
