Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Eastleigh is seeking a dedicated Secondary Learning Support Assistant to support students in secondary schools. You will work alongside teachers to provide 1:1 and small-group help, across KS3 and KS4, helping pupils stay focused and engaged.

The role offers full-time, term-time hours with a pay rate of £14.25–£15.66 per hour. A patient, flexible approach and good communication with students and staff are essential, with safeguarding training available.

Secondary Learning Support Assistant - Eastleigh

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Learning Support Assistant to support students in secondary schools across the Eastleigh area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and enjoys helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Working alongside teachers and support staff, you will provide tailored support to students who may require additional assistance with learning, organisation, confidence, behaviour, or classroom engagement. Support may be delivered on a 1:1 basis or through small‑group interventions, depending on the needs of the school and students.

This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable experience within secondary education while making a positive impact on students' academic and personal development.

The Role:
