Job summary

Simply Education Ltd is seeking a Secondary English Teacher to cover supply and longer-term opportunities across Medway and the surrounding areas.

You will deliver English lessons to KS3-KS4, with GCSE exam preparation experience and strong classroom and behaviour management.

Assignments range from day-to-day supply to longer placements, with flexible roles to fit your availability and a dedicated consultant to support you throughout.

Qualifications

• QTS or a recognised UK teaching qualification is desirable.
• Experience teaching English Language and/or English Literature.
• Confident delivering English across KS3 and KS4.
• GCSE teaching and exam preparation experience is advantageous.
• Experience supporting students with SEN and additional learning needs is desirable.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Able to plan and deliver engaging lessons where required.
• Committed to safeguarding, pupil wellbeing and supporting student progress.
