Teaching Personnel is working with a secondary mainstream school in Thorne, Doncaster, seeking a confident Cover Supervisor to support lessons when teachers are absent. No lesson planning is required, you will deliver pre‑set materials and maintain a calm, structured classroom.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK confirmed.
• Experience with young people in schools, tutoring, mentoring, youth work or similar roles.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 using pre‑prepared materials.
• Deliver pre‑set lesson content and ensure learning objectives are met.
• Follow the school behaviour policy to maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Support students with classwork, including those with additional learning needs.
• Encourage student engagement and help lessons run smoothly throughout the day.
