Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a confident Secondary Cover Supervisor for a supportive secondary school in the Lydney area. You will supervise classes, deliver pre-planned lessons and support pupils to stay engaged throughout the day.

This role suits an experienced Cover Supervisor, teaching assistant, youth worker, graduate or someone with strong experience working with secondary pupils. Competitive daily rates apply, with weekly pay and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• Experience with young people in an educational, youth work or mentoring environment.
• Confident classroom management.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Comfort delivering pre-set lesson materials.

Secondary Cover Supervisor

Lydney

£110 - £130 per day (salary is dependent on experience and qualifications)

The School and the Role

Vision for Education is currently recruiting an enthusiastic Secondary Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school in the Lydney area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and motivated individual who enjoys working with young people and wants to play an important role in maintaining a positive learning environment.

As a Secondary Cover Supervisor, you will take responsibility for supervising classes when teachers are unavailable, ensuring students remain engaged with their work and continue to make progress. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, support pupils with their tasks, manage classroom behaviour and provide feedback to teaching staff.

You will become a valued member of the school community, working alongside experienced teachers and support staff to ensure lessons run smoothly throughout the day.
