The successful Classroom Cover Supervisor will work across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain a positive learning environment and ensure pupils remain engaged and on task throughout the school day.
This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026, offering an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a supportive secondary school environment.
You do not need to hold a teaching qualification, but you must have experience working with children or young people in a role such as sports coaching, youth work, tutoring, mentoring, support work or voluntary work.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you develop effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
