Vision for Education are recruiting a Cover Supervisor for secondary schools in Calderdale. You will supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring pupils stay on task and engaged with set work.

The role

Cover Supervisors are suitably trained school staff who supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared classes when teaching staff are on short-term absence. The Cover Supervisor's main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set.

The role would be perfect for anyone looking to gain experience before applying for a teaching qualification.

You will be confident and enthusiastic, with the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of young people and fellow colleagues.

Requirements

To be considered for the Cover Supervisor position, you will:
