Job summary

The Hereford Church of England Academy is a year 11-16 secondary school on the edge of Hereford. We are part of the Diocese of Hereford Multi Academy Trust, focused on safeguarding and improving outcomes for students.

We invite qualified teachers, including primary-trained ECTs, who can work across core and foundation subjects while delivering pastoral support to help students succeed in secondary education.

Qualifications

• Commitment to supporting students who need additional academic and/or pastoral support to transition to secondary school.

Responsibilities

• Teach a small number of mixed-ability students in core and some foundation subjects.
• Provide pastoral support to develop transferable skills and student maturity.
• Offer first-line support to students and their families within the primary classroom context.
