You will support the Head Chef, tailor menus to residents, manage kitchen duties, and uphold nutrition, safety, and budget controls while creating a welcoming environment across our homes.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh seasonal food and nutritious menus.
• Good understanding of nutrition and resident wellbeing.
• Ability to create appetising menus in a care home setting.
• Capable of HACCP and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
• Assist Head Chef in menu development.
• Work with fresh produce to deliver high quality dishes.
• Create a warm, efficient, and safe kitchen environment.
• Operate within budget and perform regular stock checks.
• Complete regular audits and ensure high standards.
