Job summary

Evolution Money Ltd in Manchester seeks a Mortgage Underwriter – Second Charge to manage a pipeline from application to authorisation. You will underwrite cases, verify documents, and communicate with customers, brokers and the Advice team to reach timely lending decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience assessing or processing loan applications, ideally in second charge lending or motor finance.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced KPI/target-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail with data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review and manually underwriting second charge mortgage applications to regulatory standards and company policies.
• Examine supporting documentation and request information as needed.
• Update customer records accurately and communicate with customers and stakeholders.
• Assess each applicant on their circumstances to ensure good outcomes.
• Meet minimum KPI requirements and targets.
• Provide timely updates and clear responses to customers.
