Job summary

Simple Financial Planning in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated Mortgage Adviser to join our Second Charge Mortgage team, based at our Bridgeton, Glasgow offices. This role offers in-office, hybrid, or fully remote working patterns and a base salary of £35,000 with uncapped OTE (£71,000+).

You will provide high-quality, compliant mortgage advice to customers and support the lending process from application to completion.

Qualifications

• CeMAP qualification or equivalent required.
• Experience in second charge or specialist lending is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a target-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality, compliant second charge mortgage advice.
• Speak with customers to understand financial circumstances and objectives.
• Assess customer needs and identify suitable lending solutions.
• Explain mortgage products, costs, risks and repayment options clearly.
• Work with underwriting to manage applications through to completion.
• Build strong relationships with customers and lenders.
• Maintain accurate and compliant customer records.
• Ensure all advice meets FCA regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Work towards individual and team targets.
