Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Blackpool is seeking seasonal Mail Sorters to help process letters, gifts and parcels during the peak period. You will work in a busy warehouse environment with no prior experience required, just enthusiasm and reliability.

Shifts include core patterns such as Lates (14:00 - 22:00) with pay at £15.14 per hour. Applicants must be 18+ for night work and on-site facilities may be provided at Blackpool Collection Hub.

Qualifications

• Have a positive attitude and team spirit.
• Be organized and able to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
• Enjoy active, hands-on work, including working on your feet, pushing / pulling trolleys (up to 250kg with wheels!), and handling items up to 11kg.
• Are flexible and happy to switch tasks when needed.

Responsibilities

• Unloading letters and parcels from delivery lorries.
• Moving mail safely around our sorting centres and warehouses.

Looking for a temporary Christmas job? Whether you're looking to earn extra money, gain experience in a busy warehouse environment, or to be part of something meaningful, this role is for you. No previous warehouse or mail sorting experience is required - just bring your enthusiasm and we'll provide the rest.

As a Seasonal Mail Sorter, you'll help process millions of cards, gifts, and parcels during our busiest time of year. Your duties will include:

• Unloading letters and parcels from delivery lorries
• Moving mail safely around our sorting centres and warehouses
• Helping sort letters and parcels quickly and accurately

We have a variety of shift patterns available at Blackpool Collection Hub, Edward Street, BLACKPOOL, FY2 OXX, including the following core shift patterns:

• Lates: 14:00 - 22:00 (£15.14 p/h)

Please note, night shifts are not available to applicants under 18 years old.

Depending on location, you may have access to facilities such as on-site canteens, break areas, social spaces and subsidised gym facilities.
