Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring for seasonal roles at Bristol Mail Centre and South West Parcel Hub to support Christmas delivering busy period. As a Seasonal Mail Sorter you'll process letters and parcels, unload from lorries, and move mail through sorting centres.

No prior warehouse experience required; just a positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Shifts include afternoons, nights, and weekends with competitive hourly rates.

• Enjoy active, hands-on work, including working on your feet, pushing / pulling trolleys (up to 250kg with wheels!), and handling items up to 11kg.
• Are flexible and happy to switch tasks when needed.

Tis the season to be earning a little extra

As a Seasonal Mail Sorter, you'll help process millions of cards, gifts, and parcels during our busiest time of year. Your duties will include:

• Unloading letters and parcels from delivery lorries
• Moving mail safely around our sorting centres and warehouses
• Helping sort letters and parcels quickly and accurately

We have a variety of shift patterns available, including the core shift patterns below, at:

Bristol Mail Centre, Gloucester Road, Filton, BRISTOL, BS34 7ST

South West Parcel Hub, Western Approach Distribution ark, Severnside, BRISTOL, BS35 4GG,

• Lates: 14:00 - 22:00 (£15.14 p/h)
• Nights: 22:00 - 06:00 (£16.44 p/h)
• Weekends: Various shifts available (as above p/h)

Please note, night shifts are not available to applicants under 18 years old.

Depending on location, you may have access to facilities such as on-site canteens, break areas, social spaces and subsidised gym facilities.

What you'll need to join the team
