Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking seasonal workers for the Inverness Mail Centre and Inverness Distribution locations. No previous warehouse or mail sorting experience is required—bring enthusiasm and we’ll provide the rest.

As a Seasonal Mail Sorter, you’ll help process cards, gifts, and parcels during our busiest period, unloading, moving mail, and sorting accurately. Shifts include Earlies, Lates, Nights, and Weekends at Inverness sites, with hourly pay ranging from £15.14 to £16.44 depending on

• Enjoy active, hands-on work, including working on your feet, pushing / pulling trolleys (up to 250kg with wheels!), and handling items up to 11kg.
• Are flexible and happy to switch tasks when needed.

Tis the season to be earning a little extra

As a Seasonal Mail Sorter, you'll help process millions of cards, gifts, and parcels during our busiest time of year. Your duties will include:

• Unloading letters and parcels from delivery lorries
• Moving mail safely around our sorting centres and warehouses
• Helping sort letters and parcels quickly and accurately

We have a variety of shift patterns available, including the following core shift patterns, at:

Inverness Mail Centre, 50 Seafield Road, INVERNESS, IV1 1SG

Inverness Distribution, 50 Seafield Road, INVERNESS, IV1 1SG

• Earlies: 06:00 - 14:00 (£15.14 p/h) - Mail Centre only
• Lates: 14:00 - 22:00 (£15.14 p/h)
• Nights: 22:00 - 06:00 (£16.44 p/h)
• Weekends: Various shifts available (as above p/h) - Mail Centre only

Please note, night shifts are not available to applicants under 18 years old.

Depending on location, you may have access to facilities such as on-site canteens, break areas, social spaces and subsidised gym facilities.
