Job description

Job Title: Seasonal Greenkeeper

Are you interested in working outdoors and getting paid for it?

What Are We Looking For

Previous experience in this area is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. Applicants must be aged 18 or over to comply with Health and Safety requirements.

What You'll Do

• Assist greenkeepers in maintaining the golf courses through gardening and general duties such as machinery operation, grass mowing, bunker raking, divoting tees and fairways, moving tee markers, tournament preparation, and golf course setup.
• Handle cleaning and lawn maintenance chemicals and work in all-weather conditions.
• Perform tasks assigned by the Head Greenkeeper or senior staff, and contribute to the maintenance and development of the golf course and related areas as per the operational programme.
• Operate equipment like mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and other machinery safely.
• Occasionally work in other areas of the Estates Department as required.
