Job Title: Gardener

Join HC-One as a Gardener and play a vital role in maintaining our care home gardens to the highest standards, enhancing the environment for residents and the community.

Responsibilities

1. Perform gardening duties including planting seasonal foliage, grass-cutting, pruning shrubs, watering hanging baskets, weed eradication, and tidying pathways and driveways.
2. Maintain gardening machinery and tools, conducting tests and checks as required.
3. Paint and repair fences and garden furniture within the grounds.
4. Collaborate with the estates team on salt gritting and snow clearance during winter.

Safeguarding is a priority; you should be able to recognize signs of abuse or neglect and know how to respond appropriately, including attending relevant training.
