Job summary

Lichfield Garrick Theatre requires a proactive Follow Spot Operator for its Christmas Spectacular running from 20 November 2026 to 10 January 2027. This fixed-term contract begins 16 November 2026, with work across six days per week from 08:00 to 23:00 (up to three performances daily).

You will work under the lighting designer and LX/DMS teams, contributing to a high-energy theatre show and supporting show resets as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong teamwork within a theatre lighting team.
• Ability to follow instructions and health & safety requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Friendly positive attitude and reliable time-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate follow spot as part of the lighting team.
• Follow cues from the lighting designer, DMS or LX team.
• Create a follow spot cue sheet.
• Assist in show resets under the Stage Manager's supervision.
