The Operational Care Manager, Finance is responsible for ensuring SLA’s are met for all work that comes in from the customer care team as per the standard operating procedures. This role is responsible for the direct line management of a team of approximately 4-5 colleagues. The role holder allocates the daily workload to ensure all tasks are carried out and acts as an escalation point for any issues, disputes or queries.

How you create impact
  • Manage the Operational Import Finance team
  • Monitoring and resolution of open files in FSL and Management of month end processes
  • Ensure financial processes including FSL guidelines are strictly adhered to including accurate coding and correct sign-off levels
  • Manage interfaces and information / knowledge exchange
  • Contribute as process owner to continuous improvements of processes and controls for lean and cost-efficient processes
  • Analysis of financial reports to establish root cause and corrective action
  • Reviewing of operational procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement, and promoting continuous improvement within the team
  • Monitoring of monthly Seafreight KPI’s to ensure the agreed service level is maintained and where necessary corrective actions are implemented
