Sea Freight Operations Coordinator (Exports) – Basildon, Essex

Noble Recruiting is actively seeking a skilled and confident Sea Freight Operations Coordinator (Exports) to join our client’s dynamic team in Basildon, Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to enhance their career within a thriving Sea Freight Operations department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Team Leader and Sea Freight Manager to drive departmental competitiveness and profitability.
• Ensure accurate charging of duties/VAT during invoicing and collect payments in line with SOPs.
• Complete Import, Export, and Cross Trade activities on time, ensuring Customs declaration forms are completed correctly.
• Report any errors in Customs declaration forms immediately to the line manager and handle Customs claims as required.
• Accurately complete all Customs import declaration forms.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience in road transport, logistics, or haulage (desirable but not essential).
• Working knowledge of the CDS system for Imports and Exports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong telephone communication skills.
• Reliable and adaptable, with excellent communication abilities.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends based on workload volume.
• UK residency and the right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).
