Job description

Job Title: Quality Operations Project Coordinator
Location: Remote (must be UK based)
Duration:6 months

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Operations Project Coordinator to support localisation quality operations across global vendor teams. You’ll play a key role in maintaining linguistic excellence and ensuring consistent application of localisation quality standards across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with vendor quality stakeholders and provide support across cross-vendor engagements.
  • Oversee vendor-level quality processes and communications to ensure alignment with established guidelines.
  • Support recruitment, testing, onboarding, and training of LQA (Linguistic Quality Assurance) specialists.
  • Manage quality-related workflows, including:
    • Translation feedback (relaying and resolving between vendors and stakeholders)
    • Terminology updates and style guide maintenance
    • LQA task management, arbitration flows, and timely feedback implementation
    • Responding to vendor linguist queries
  • Maintain and update internal tracking tools and share quality data and reports with relevant stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in localisation project or quality management, preferably from the vendor side.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field.
  • Proficiency with localisation tools and systems (e.g., SDL Trados Studio, Idiom WorldServer).
  • Excellent communication skills across culturally diverse teams.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-paced environment.
  • Positive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of localisation quality best practices.
  • Experience with cross-vendor coordination in multilingual environments.
  • Familiarity with digital products and platforms such as messaging apps or virtual reality content.
  • Proficiency in one or more languages besides English is a plus.
