Job summary

Apprentify in Cheshire is seeking a driven Sales Development Representative to join our expanding B2B sales team. You’ll start with a comprehensive onboarding programme, including an intensive two-week sales academy, to equip you with the skills, confidence and knowledge to succeed.

In your first six months you’ll identify and engage prospects, qualify opportunities and book meetings for the wider team. A clear progression to a Business Development Executive role awaits.

Qualifications

• On-target and ambitious with a drive to grow in sales.
• Excellent communication and telephone manner.
• Comfort with learning new systems and CRM usage.
• Experience in sales, customer service, retail or similar roles is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively outreach to prospective clients via phone, email and LinkedIn.
• Identify, nurture and qualify new sales opportunities.
• Research target businesses and key stakeholders.
• Arrange high-quality meetings for the Business Development team.
• Build rapport and relationships with potential customers.
• Keep CRM records up to date and accurate.
• Work toward individual and team performance targets.
• Collaborate across sales, marketing and wider functions.
