National Energy System Operator (NESO) invites applications for the Scotland RESP Strategic Lead based in Glasgow. You will guide Scotland RESP work, engage with government and network stakeholders, and ensure delivery of strategic energy planning outputs.

You will coordinate workshops, translate complex energy topics into clear findings, and contribute to ongoing RESP development and methodology improvements.

Qualificações

• Experience within the energy sector and technical energy knowledge.
• Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders including government bodies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of energy project lifecycles and multiple energy vectors.
• Experience with devolved government, local authorities, or energy networks in Scotland.
• Ability to translate technical info into clear messaging for reports/presentations.
• Strategic thinking and understanding of regulatory/planning frameworks.
• Familiarity with data/systems used in energy distribution networks.

Responsabilidades

• Represent NESO at strategic level for Scotland RESP.
• Engage with Scottish Government, local authorities and networks to gather inputs.
• Design and run workshops with the RESP Board and stakeholders.
• Implement RESP methodology in Scotland and contribute to its development.
• Define RESP work packages and coordinate with national/regional teams.
• Produce concise reports and slide decks for RESP progress.
