Job summary

ENGINEERINGUK is launching Scoot and seeks a Senior Finance Analyst to manage day-to-day financial operations, deliver accurate reporting and provide analytical support to drive informed decisions across the Scoot venture.

The role offers a hybrid working pattern with three days in office at a regional location and two days from home, with collaboration across multiple sites and stakeholders to support the wider Booker Retail business.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (preferred) with a relevant degree.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Advanced IT proficiency, particularly in Excel.
• Team player, capable of collaborating across multiple sites.
• Willingness to travel to other sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing weekly sales reports, ensuring alignment between retail sales and wholesale sales uplifts.
• Conducting monthly profit and loss analysis, comparing actuals against business cases.
• Leading budgeting, latest estimate (LE) planning, and forecasting activities.
• Managing and overseeing invoice and credit processes related to handheld terminals, commission charges, and marketing support.
• Overseeing third-party logistics (3PL) management and ensuring rebate credits are processed back to Booker Group.
• Administering and controlling sales incentive schemes to drive performance.
• Supporting the Commercial Finance Manager with ad hoc analytical work outside of the Scoot framework
