Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold a UK science degree (or overseas equivalent), have an Enhanced DBS, and the right to work in the UK. Experience in a UK school lab is preferred, with an organized, proactive approach.

This is a vital support role within the science department, well suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment and supporting high-quality practical science lessons for pupils and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting and preparing practical lessons alongside the Science Teachers

• Ensuring equipment and materials are safely stored when not in use

• Guiding staff and pupils in correct Health & Safety policies

• Maintaining and repairing all resources when required

• Keeping track of what is out of stock and making the necessary orders when needed
