Our client is seeking a reliable, organised, and proactive Science Technician to join a welcoming school in Leeds. This is a vital support role within the science department, well suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment and supporting high-quality practical science lessons for pupils and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting and preparing practical lessons alongside the Science Teachers

• Ensuring equipment and materials are safely stored when not in use

• Guiding staff and pupils in correct Health & Safety policies

• Maintaining and repairing all resources when required

• Keeping track of what is out of stock and making the necessary orders when needed

• Disposing of hazardous waste in a safe manner

The Ideal Candidate will have

• Experience in a lab setting or as a Science Technician in a UK school
