A specialist independent school in Windsor is looking to appoint a Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2025.
The school supports children and young people aged 5 to 16 with Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and associated learning difficulties. The provision is built around small class sizes, a high staff-to-pupil ratio, and a therapeutic, inclusive approach to education that places the needs of the individual at the heart of learning.
About the role:
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a broad and engaging curriculum across KS3 and KS4, adapting your approach to suit the individual needs and abilities of each pupil. You will work alongside a team of committed teaching and support staff, as well as specialists in pastoral and therapeutic care. The school provides a nurturing environment where positive relationships and high expectations are the foundation for success.
Contract type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary range: £31,650 to £49,084 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Windsor, Berkshire (SL4 area)
The ideal candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
Show a clear understanding of SEN, SEMH, ASC or alternative provision
Be able to plan, deliver, and assess lessons that are inclusive and engaging
Demonstrate strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
Be committed to the wider school community and personal professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
