Teaching Personnel is seeking a qualified Science Teacher for a maternity cover at a respected specialist school in Alton, Hampshire. This part-time role (3 days per week) focuses on delivering engaging, practical science lessons to primary pupils with SEND, including those with physical disabilities.

You will collaborate with therapists and teaching assistants to adapt learning, foster curiosity, and ensure an inclusive, stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Science at primary level or confidence in delivering science across the primary curriculum.
• Commitment to inclusive education and supporting pupils with SEND.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A patient, nurturing and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
• Experience working with children with physical disabilities and additional needs is desirable but not essential.

Are you a passionate and creative Science Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young learners with special educational needs? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our highly respected specialist school in Alton on a part-time maternity cover basis (3 days per week) from January.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established and renowned school that provides outstanding education and support for primary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), predominantly those with physical disabilities.

The Role

As our Science Teacher, you will:
