Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join our specialist school in Alton, Hampshire on a part-time maternity cover basis (3 days per week) starting in January.

The role requires QTS and experience teaching science to primary pupils, with a focus on SEND. You will deliver engaging, practical science, adapt lessons to individual needs, and collaborate with therapists, teaching assistants and multidisciplinary teams to support pupil progress.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
• Experience teaching science at primary level or ability to teach science across the primary curriculum.
• Commitment to inclusive education and SEND.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Patient, nurturing and flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, practical science lessons to primary-aged pupils.
• Adapt learning experiences to meet individual needs and abilities.
• Foster curiosity, independence and a love of learning through creative teaching.
• Work closely with therapists, teaching assistants and multidisciplinary teams to support pupil progress.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.
