Job summary

St Therese Catholic Primary School in Torquay seeks a dedicated teacher to uphold Catholic ethos and safeguarding standards. You will participate in assessment-informed teaching and collaborate with families and staff.

Role Description/Criteria

Selection Criteria - Successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

• commitment to the Catholic ethos, mission, vision and values of St Therese Catholic Primary School
• commitment to child safety and wellbeing and the St Therese Staff Code of Conduct
• knowledge and use of evidence-informed practice, including direct and explicit teaching, aligned with the MACS Vision for Instruction

Special Requirements:

• preference that candidates hold accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or at least demonstrate a commitment to obtain this accreditation.
• current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration (including provisional registration)
• applicants at any experience level, including graduates, are welcome to apply
