Job summary

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch is seeking a proactive Science Teacher to work in Wakefield (WF1). You will plan and deliver engaging science lessons, build pupil understanding, and foster curiosity with practical activities. This role requires QTS, strong science knowledge, and effective classroom management.

Salary: £130-£220 per day (depending on experience)

This is an opportunity to deliver engaging Science lessons, develop pupils' understanding of scientific concepts and encourage them to explore the subject with confidence.

As a Science Teacher, you will:

• Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
