Job Title: Science Teacher

Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire

Type of work: KS3/KS4 Science Class Teacher

Contract: Temp to Perm, ongoing/permanent

Role Overview

You will be a passionate teacher engaging students in Science, aiming not just to pass exams but to help them express their emotions therapeutically and positively. You will support students in building trusting relationships and will need to think creatively to deliver engaging lessons for onsite and offsite students.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure the teaching environment is safe, tidy, pleasant, and stimulating.
2. Plan and deliver curriculum tailored to individual needs, respecting pupil entitlement.
3. Teach a range of subjects at different levels across key stages.
4. Develop and maintain positive relationships with families and carers.

Minimum Requirements

• QTS or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of English teaching experience in the UK.
• Recent Safeguarding training (within the last year).
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Provide two professional child-related references.
