Full-Time PE & Science Teacher – Secondary School in Farnborough, Hampshire!

GSL Education are excited to present an excellent opportunity for a Physical Education (PE) & Science Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Farnborough, Hampshire. This role is set to begin in September 2025. The school welcomes both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators. The annual salary for this position ranges from £30,000 to £50,000, based on experience.

Responsibilities of a PE & Science Teacher:

• Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons in both Physical Education and Science.
• Develop, plan, and implement lesson plans that inspire physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and scientific curiosity.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
• Foster a safe and positive environment that encourages participation, teamwork, and respect.
• Work collaboratively with other staff to create an inclusive and supportive school community.
• Participate in extracurricular programs and events related to Physical Education and Science.
• Take an active role in promoting the physical, mental, and academic well-being of students.
• Keep up to date with the latest curriculum developments and pedagogical practices in both Physical Education and Science.

Required Qualifications for a PE & Science Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong passion for both Physical Education and Science.
• Experience teaching PE and Science at the secondary school level (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
• The ability to create and deliver engaging lessons that inspire students.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Ability to motivate and build positive relationships with students.
• A commitment to fostering student well-being and personal development.
• A collaborative and proactive approach to working with colleagues.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
