Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Redditch from October 2026. The school is looking for a teacher who can create engaging learning experiences, build positive relationships with students and encourage a genuine interest in Science.
This role would suit an experienced Science Teacher who is looking for a new challenge, as well as an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking an opportunity to develop their classroom experience. You will be joining a department where teamwork, consistency and high standards are encouraged, with a focus on helping students make strong academic and personal progress.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering well-structured Science lessons, assessing student understanding and adapting teaching to meet the needs of different learners. You will also play an active role in creating a positive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to participate and achieve.
The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis, depending on your availability. A full-time appointment will involve taking on full classroom responsibilities, including lesson planning, delivery, assessment and supporting students across the academic year.
This Science Teacher role is based in Redditch, with the school easily commutable from surrounding areas including Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, Stratford-upon-Avon, Solihull and Birmingham. The school is well-connected by public transport and has excellent road links, making it easily accessible for teachers travelling from across Worcestershire and the surrounding areas.
