Job summary

Qualifications

• QTS required.
• Specialism in secondary Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics).
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
• Hours: 08:30–15:30, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned Science and general subject lessons effectively.
• Maintain a positive, productive environment in line with school behaviour policies.
• Support student progress and manage classroom dynamics during teacher absences.
• Leave detailed handover notes for returning class teachers.
