This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about Biology, Chemistry, or Physics who wants to support students' progress and gain classroom experience - ideal for aspiring teachers or educational professionals.
Support Science teachers in delivering engaging and practical lessons across KS3 and KS4
Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students who need extra help
Assist with setting up experiments, maintaining lab safety, and preparing classroom materials
Help students build confidence in key scientific concepts and exam preparation
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the SEN team to track and support student progress
A degree in a science-related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.)
Passion for science education and making STEM subjects accessible and exciting
Strong communication and organisational skills
Experience working with young people in a school, tutoring, or mentoring capacity is desirable
A supportive and experienced Science department
