Qualifications

• Strong academic background in Science (degree desirable).
• Passion for supporting young people and education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable).
• Patient, supportive and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Providing small group and 1:1 academic mentoring support in Science
• Supporting KS3 and KS4 with their learning and progress
• Working alongside classroom teachers to identify areas for development
• Helping students build confidence, resilience, and independent study skills
• Delivering targeted intervention sessions to support academic achievement
• Encouraging a positive attitude towards Science and learning
